This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Light snow is possible late tonight mainly northwest of a Peru to
Aurora to Evanston line. Some minor slushy snow accumulations are
possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Significant Snow Risk.
Significant Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Significant Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A complex storm system will affect the region through mid week.
This storm system has the potential to produce significant snow
accumulations of 6 inches or more for portions of northern Illinois
Tuesday into Wednesday.

Strong northerly winds will generate high waves on Lake Michigan and
may pose a threat of lakeshore flooding from Tuesday morning through
Wednesday night.
