AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...A short period of moderate snow ending near 4 PM. Total
snow accumulation of one half to two inches with the highest
totals near the Wisconsin state line. Winds could gust as high
as 30 mph at times.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Illinois.
* WHEN...Through 4 PM CST /5 PM EST/ this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Brief moderate snow rates, combined with gusty
southeasterly winds will lead to sharply reduced visibility.
Some roads are snow covered with temporary hazardous travel.
