THIS MORNING TO 4 PM CST /5 PM EST/ THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...A period of moderate to heavy snow with rates of 1 inch
or more per hour possible for a short time during the late
morning to mid afternoon. Total snow accumulation of 1 to 3
inches. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph at times.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest Indiana and east central and
northeast Illinois.
* WHEN...From 9 AM CST /10 AM EST/ this morning to 4 PM CST /5
PM EST/ this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...High snow rates, combined with gusty southeasterly
winds will likely lead to roads becoming snow covered for a
time and hazardous travel.
