This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk early this morning.

DISCUSSION:

Patches of freezing drizzle and fog will be possible this
morning, mainly for locales near and south of I-80. This could
result in the development of patchy slick spots.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Thursday and Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A fast moving system is expected to bring the next round of

stand the highest chance for a plowable snowfall before the snow
mixes with or changes to rain during the late afternoon hours.
Precipitation may end as a brief period of light freezing drizzle
well to the northwest of Chicago on Sunday evening.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
