* WHAT...Heavy, wet snow and dangerous travel conditions expected.
Total snow accumulations 6 to 9 inches expected. Wind gusts as
high as 40 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois.
* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
could impact the evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow rates will exceed 1 inch per hour at
times. The strongest winds will occur this evening.
