...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CST
WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Light snow and patchy blowing snow. Additional snow
accumulations of up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 40
mph.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM CST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow
could reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will slowly fall below
freezing late this evening and overnight. Slick conditions may
develop, especially on untreated roads or where blowing snow
causes snow to deposit on pavement.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
