...Slick Travel in Snow Continues Through Daybreak...

Steady snowfall continues early this morning with additional
accumulations of up to 1 to 2 inches expected. Area roadways have
become party to mostly covered in snow, especially for locales
along and between the I-39 and I-55 corridors in Illinois.
Elsewhere, snowfall will coat bridges, overpasses, and untreated
or less-traveled roadways. Motorists should be prepared for
rapidly varying travel conditions through daybreak. Slow down and
allow extra stopping distance.
