KANE...MCHENRY AND SOUTHEASTERN BOONE COUNTIES UNTIL 630 PM CDT...
At 539 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking several strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Harvard to near
Kirkland. Movement was east at 25 mph.
Penny size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
any of these storms.
Locations impacted include...
McHenry, Belvidere, Woodstock, Sycamore, Harvard, Marengo, Genoa,
Wonder Lake, Lake In The Hills, Huntley, Johnsburg, Spring Grove,
Hampshire, Lakewood, Richmond, Kirkland, Capron, Hebron, Kingston and
Bull Valley.
Including the following interstate...
I-90 between mile markers 35 and 53.
This includes...Mchenry County Fairgrounds.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
