EASTERN MCHENRY AND NORTHWESTERN COOK COUNTIES UNTIL 1115 AM CDT...
At 1021 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Channel Lake to Bull Valley to Hampshire.
Movement was east at 20 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Elgin, Waukegan, Arlington Heights, Palatine, Mount Prospect, Hoffman
Estates, Glenview, Buffalo Grove, Carpentersville, Wheeling,
Northbrook, North Chicago, Gurnee, Mundelein, Algonquin, Highland
Park, McHenry, Vernon Hills, Zion and Rolling Meadows.
This includes... Chain O Lakes State Park, College of Lake County,
Great Lakes Naval Training Center, IL Beach State Park, Lake County
IL Fairgrounds, Lake Forest College, Mchenry County College, Moraine
