This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Tuesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk PM hours.
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk PM hours.
Limited Flooding Risk PM hours.
Wednesday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Periods of showers and thunderstorms will be possible from Tuesday
through the end of the week. There is a risk for isolated severe
thunderstorms and localized flooding for portions of the area
later Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening and night.
Thunderstorms Wednesday through Saturday can be expected to
occasionally produce heavy downpours. There is concern for a
widespread significant precipitation event to close out the week,
with early signs indicating that the focus may be over central
Illinois and Indiana and points south. It's too early to rule out
a northward shift however. The areas that receive the most rain
through the week will likely have renewed flooding concerns and
river rises.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
