This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this evening mainly
south of I-80. Severe weather is not expected, but brief
heavy rainfall will be possible.
Portions of the Pecatonica, Fox, Kankakee and Illinois Rivers
will remain above flood stage.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Sunday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday through Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Thunderstorms will be possible on Sunday, with the greatest
chances along and east of I-55. Locally heavy rainfall will
be possible from slow-moving storms which could result in
an isolated threat for urban and small stream flooding.
Dangerous swimming conditions may develop on Monday, mainly
for beaches along the Porter and Lake (IN) County shores.
Additional periodic thunderstorm chances will develop Wednesday
through Thursday. Severe weather is not expected.
Portions of the Pecatonica, Fox, Kankakee and Illinois Rivers
will remain above flood stage.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
