This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible late this afternoon and
evening mainly south of I-80. Severe weather is not expected, but
brief heavy rainfall will be possible.
Portions of the Pecatonica, Fox, Kankakee and Illinois Rivers
will remain above flood stage.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Sunday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk, mainly for Porter County beaches.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Sunday, with the
greatest chances near and east of I-55. Locally heavy rainfall
will be possible from slow-moving storms which could result in
a very isolated threat for urban and small stream flooding.
Thunderstorm chances will linger into Monday morning. Dangerous
swimming conditions may develop on Monday, mainly for beaches
along the Porter and perhaps Lake (IN) county shores.
Additional off and on thunderstorm chances will develop Wednesday
through Thursday. Severe weather is not expected.
Portions of the Pecatonica, Fox, Kankakee and Illinois Rivers
will remain above flood stage.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
