This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Isolated thunderstorms are possible tonight mainly west of I-55
late tonight and into Tuesday morning. Severe weather is not
expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk mainly Tuesday evening/overnight.
Limited Flooding Risk, mainly south of I-80.
Thursday through Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Severe weather is not expected Tuesday morning, but there is a
risk for isolated strong to severe thunderstorms with a wind and
hail risk late Tuesday into Tuesday evening and night. A few
strong thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday, mainly well south
of I-80. Any thunderstorms can be expected to produce heavy
downpours on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a localized flooding
risk also possible, primarily for portions of east central
Illinois and south of the Kankakee River in Indiana. In addition,
river rises may occur.
A slow moving storm system will then bring off and on
precipitation chances to the region mainly Friday and through
the upcoming weekend. At this time, it appears the threat for the
heaviest rainfall totals should remain south of the region across
central Illinois.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
