This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
There is a chance of thunderstorms tonight with some low end
threat for an isolated strong to severe thunderstorm development.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Wednesday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Saturday through Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
A conditional threat for thunderstorms will remain in place for areas
along and south of a cold front across northern Illinois and northwest
Indiana on Wednesday morning through mid afternoon. If storms do
form, then there could be some stronger storms, primarily for
portions of east central Illinois and south of the Kankakee River
in Indiana.
Thunderstorm chances may return later this week, though the trend has
been for a delayed arrival of storms as they may remain farther south
across central Illinois until this weekend.

Spotter activation may be needed tonight.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Moving toward southeast at 20 to 25 mph.
