This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to 1 inch in diameter.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Elevated Fire weather Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected across northwest Illinois
this afternoon and will then move east across northeast Illinois
this evening...in a weakening phase. Widespread severe weather is
not expected but an isolated severe storm is possible...generally
northwest of a Streator to Aurora to Lake Villa line. The main
hazard would be large hail. A strong wind gust would be possible
with any decaying thunderstorms.

Strong southerly winds combined with low relative humidity levels
will create an elevated fire danger for areas east of Interstate
57 through this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Due to the limited risk of any severe weather, spotter
activation is not expected. However spotters are encouraged to
relay any reports of hail.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward east northeast around 35 mph.
