This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Fire weather Risk.

DISCUSSION...

While ground moisture conditions are not critically low, the
combination of dry air and breezy conditions will make for an
elevated fire danger this afternoon, especially north of
Interstate 80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Limited Snow Risk during the day.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk during the night.
Thursday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk
Friday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A potent storm system will cross the middle of the country
Wednesday through Friday. There is a chance for a brief wet
snow near the Wisconsin border on Wednesday. On Thursday and
Friday, strong winds may potentially gust to or in excess of
45 mph. There is also a chance for thunderstorms Thursday and
Thursday evening across the entire area. Some of these storms
could be strong to severe.
