Kankakee River near Kouts affecting Jasper and Porter Counties
The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well
as forecast precipitation 24-48 hours into the future.

The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
* Flood Warning for
The Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, or from Johnsburg
downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
* from Wednesday afternoon to Saturday morning.
* At 930 AM Tuesday the stage was 8.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Wednesday afternoon and
continue to rise to near 10.0 feet by Thursday morning.The river
will fall below flood stage by early Saturday morning.
