This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk into this evening...with an associated:     Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.     Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.

DISCUSSION…

Scattered showers with some thunderstorms through early evening may briefly become strong and produce hail and gusty winds, primarily south of I-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Monday and Tuesday…

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

Wednesday night…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Thursday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Low relative humidity levels over northwest portions of the area Monday and central and south portions of the area Tuesday afternoon will lead to an Elevated Fire Weather risk.

There is a chance for thunderstorms late Wednesday night through Thursday evening across the entire area, with the highest chance Thursday afternoon.

There is the potential for a period of gusty south winds Thursday afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation is not anticipated due to likely limited coverage of any stronger storms that develop.

Moving toward the east northeast at 35 mph. </pre>
