This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk near Lake Michigan.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk

DISCUSSION...

Northerly winds will increase late tonight, with gusts to around
40 mph possible near Lake Michigan. These strong northerly winds
will build waves and elevate lake levels, which will likely cause
minor lakeshore flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk near Lake Michigan.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk
Saturday...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Sunday and Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Strong northerly winds will continue on Friday, especially near
Lake Michigan, continuing a likelihood of minor lakeshore flooding
due to large waves and elevated lake levels. Dry conditions and
gusty northerly winds inland on Friday and Saturday could bring an
elevated risk for the more rapid spread of brush fires.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
