This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Thunderstorm Risk this morning.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this morning for areas
along and east of Interstate 55. Heavy rain and small hail will
be possible with the strongest storms but severe weather is not
expected.

Strong northerly winds will develop late tonight with high waves
and possible flooding of flood prone areas near the lake.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Sunday and Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Strong northerly winds will continue Friday and Friday evening
which will cause high waves and possible flooding of flood prone
areas near the lake.

Strong winds and low relative humidity levels will lead to an
elevated fire danger Friday afternoon...mainly for areas northwest
of Interstate 55.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward northeast around 35 mph.
