This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk tonight mainly I-80 north.
Limited Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible overnight, mainly
for locales along and north of I-80. Patchy fog may push inland
across parts of the Chicago metro this evening into tonight
behind a cold front.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Fog Risk in the morning.
Thursday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A storm system will bring increasing shower and thunderstorm
chances to the region mainly Wednesday night into Thursday. There
is a low potential that a few storms could become strong to
marginally severe primarily overnight Wednesday through Thursday
morning. The main threats would be from small hail and strong and
gusty winds. Another storm system may bring a risk for
thunderstorms to the region on Sunday.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east-northeast at 30 mph tonight.
