This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Friday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Saturday and Sunday…

Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

Monday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

Tuesday…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There is growing liklihood that a heat wave will develop this weekend and potentially continue into early next week. High temperatures will likely top out well into the 90s with peak afternoon heat indices above 100 degrees. Very warm and humid conditions will offer very little relief from the heat during the nighttime hours.
