This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…
Limited Thunderstorm Risk. Elevated Fog Risk.
DISCUSSION…
Some early morning fog is expected south of I-80. Otherwise, showers and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm will be possible south of I-80 this afternoon. Severe weather is not expected.
Many area rivers will remain in flood.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.
Monday Night…
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk. Elevated Flooding Risk.
Tuesday…
Limited Flooding Risk. Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday and Thursday…
Limited Thunderstorm Risk. Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Friday…
Limited Thunderstorm Risk. Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
DISCUSSION:
A couple periods of thunderstorms will be possible Monday night through Tuesday night. Some of these storms could be strong and contain heavy rainfall capable of producing localized flash flooding.
Temperatures and humidity levels will be on the increase later in the week. This may result in heat indices climbing well into the 90s Wednesday and Thursday and to 100 to 105 degrees by Friday.
Many area rivers will remain in flood into early next week.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
