This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:     Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph, likely less.  Limited Flooding Risk.  Elevated Excessive Heat Risk south.

DISCUSSION…

Heavy rain from thunderstorms is possible again today, mainly along and south of I-88. This may lead to flash flooding. A few stronger storms are also possible during the afternoon, with a limited risk of damaging winds. Warm and muggy conditions will linger today mainly south of I-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

Thursday through Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Sunday night and Monday…

High Swim Risk
