This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Many area rivers will remain in flood.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.

Monday night…

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Flooding Risk.

Tuesday…

Limited Flooding Risk.  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

Wednesday morning…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Thursday…

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Friday…

Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A couple periods of thunderstorms will be possible Monday night through Tuesday night. Some of these storms could be strong and contain heavy rainfall capable of producing localized flash flooding.

Temperatures and humidity levels will be on the increase later in the week. This may result in heat indices climbing well into the 90s by Thursday and to 100 to 105 degrees Friday and Saturday.

Many area rivers will remain in flood into early next week.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
