DISCUSSION:
There is growing likelihood that a heat wave will develop this weekend and potentially continue into early next week. High temperatures will likely top out well into the 90s with peak afternoon heat indices above 100 degrees. Very warm and humid conditions will offer very little relief from the heat during the nighttime hours.
