DISCUSSION:
Thunderstorms in Wisconsin late tonight may shift into northern
Illinois north of I-80 on Tuesday morning. There is a chance a
few of these storms could be stronger.
A cold front passing later Tuesday will support the chance for
more thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening, especially
along and southeast of a line from Chicago to LaSalle Peru. Some
of these storms may be severe, with the higher chances looking to
be in northwest Indiana.
Tuesday will also see gusty southwest winds at times possibly
gusting to 40 mph.
Behind the front on Wednesday, north winds will produce large
waves and dangerous swimming conditions along southern
Lake Michigan beaches.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
