This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk
High Swim Risk

DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms... some with heavy rainfall... will
return later this evening through the overnight. Additional flash
flooding and river flooding will be possible. Many locations will
receive at least 0.5 inches of additional rainfall, but isolated
to scattered locations may receive 1-2 inches... a few spots even
higher. Rain rates may exceed one inch per hour.

Strong northeast winds will generate high waves causing strong
rip currents and dangerous swim conditions to area beaches and
some minor lakeshore flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

DISCUSSION:

Thunderstorms will continue into the morning Sunday. Additional periods
of thunderstorms are expected this week... most concentrated around
Tuesday night and Wednesday into Wednesday night.

Strong northeast winds will generate high waves causing strong
rip currents and dangerous swim conditions to area beaches Sunday...
and again later Wednesday through Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the northeast at 25 to 30 mph.
