This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Significant Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
High Swim Risk
Many area rivers are experiencing flooding due to recent heavy
rain.
DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms, some producing locally heavy rainfall,
will move through the region this morning. Additional flash
flooding and river flooding may be possible. Locations under the
heavier storms may receive 1-2 inches with rainfall rates possibly
exceeding one inch per hour.
Strong east winds will generate high waves causing strong rip
currents and dangerous swim conditions to northeastern Illinois
beaches.
