Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties
The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well
as forecast precipitation 24-48 hours into the future. This does not
take into account rainfall, some possibly heavy, on Friday.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, or from Johnsburg
downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
* until Saturday afternoon.
* At 730 PM Tuesday the stage was 10.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 10.5 feet...Low-lying sections of Cornish Park are
inundated in Algonquin.
