This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

High Swim Risk for Porter County.

DISCUSSION...

Strong northwest winds will produce hazardous swimming conditions
along Porter County Indiana Lake Michigan beaches today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Saturday and Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Portions of the Des Plains, Fox and Pecatonica rivers will remain
elevated this week.

Thunderstorm chances increase by mid week, with the highest
chances for storms expected late Tuesday night into Wednesday. A
few stronger storms are possible during this time, mainly along
and west of I-39 in north central Illinois. Active weather returns
late in the work week into the weekend, with periodic chances for
thunderstorms expected.
