This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to the size of nickels.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Fog Risk.
High Swim Risk
DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms are likely late this afternoon into early
evening... mainly south of I-80. An isolated storm or two south
and west of a line from Streator to Watseka may produce brief hail
or damaging winds. Otherwise some of the stronger storms may produce
torrential rainfall with very low visibility.
Areas of fog will form overnight lasting into early Monday morning.
Breezy east winds will continue to generate high waves on Lake Michigan
causing dangerous swim conditions on Illinois beaches into early this
evening. High waves will also cause dangerous conditions on piers and
breakwalls and along the shore.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Fog Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:
A period of possible heavy rainfall is possible Tuesday night through
Wednesday night. Heavy rainfall could cause renewed rises on area rivers
and streams.
