This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

After early morning showers and storms south of I-80 dissipate,
there will be a low threat for a few thunderstorms this afternoon.
Brief, locally heavy rainfall would be the main threat.

Saturday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Sunday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Several periods of rain are possible from Saturday through Sunday

cold front. Heavy rainfall could lead to renewed rises along area
rivers that are still in flood stage, and could also lead to areas
of flash flooding, although uncertainty remains regarding the
placement of the main axis of heaviest rainfall.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward east at 20 mph.
