This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Fox River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday…

Limited Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Wednesday and Thursday…

Limited Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

Friday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk early.  High Swim Risk

Saturday…

High Swim Risk early

DISCUSSION:

Heat index readings will return to above 100 degrees on Independence Day and Thursday.

Scattered afternoon thunderstorms Tuesday through Thursday may also produce localized areas of heavy rain and possible flash flooding.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Fox River through midweek.
