This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms will continue through early evening, with the highest coverage expected south of Interstate

  1. Funnel clouds are also possible during this time. Heavy rain and

brief wind gusts to 30 mph are also possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday and Thursday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Saturday through Monday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Warm and humid conditions more typical of mid summer will return late this week into this weekend. Heat indices will reach the mid to upper 90s. Thunder chances remain low this weekend, with a better chance into early next week.
