Limited Excessive Heat Risk. Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk evening and night for parts of far northern Illinois. Limited Flooding Risk evening and night for parts of far northern Illinois.
Saturday…
Limited Flooding Risk. Limited Thunderstorm Risk. Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Sunday and Monday…
Limited Thunderstorm Risk. Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday…

DISCUSSION:
Very warm to hot and humid air will return to the area Friday, and will linger through the weekend and into Monday. Thunderstorm chances will gradually increase Friday evening and night, and will persist off and on through Monday, when a cold front will move through. Some storms may be strong late Friday night over parts of northwest and north central Illinois. Very heavy downpours and localized flooding will be possible with some of the storms through Monday.
