This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:     Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph mainly I-80 and south.  Limited Flooding Risk mainly I-80 and south.  Elevated Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Scattered thunderstorms are possible mainly along and south of Interstate 80 into this evening. Severe weather is unlikely, however an isolated severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts can't be ruled out. In addition, any thunderstorm will likely produce very heavy downpours capable of causing localized flooding.

Areas of fog are possible overnight north of Interstate 80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.

Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.  Elevated Fog Risk in the morning.

Monday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Tuesday…

Limited Coastal Flood Risk.  High Swim Risk.

Thursday through Friday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
