This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected… Limited Thunderstorm Risk this evening.

DISCUSSION…

Thunderstorms will come to an end this evening. Brief heavy rainfall is the main hazard.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Little Calumet River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Tuesday.

Friday…

High Swim Risk

Tuesday…

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Wednesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

High waves will lead to dangerous swimming conditions on Lake Michigan beaches from Cook County to northwest Indiana on Friday through Friday evening. Very warm to hot and humid conditions will return next work week.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Little Calumet River through Friday evening.

Spotters will not be needed through tonight.
