This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:   Elevated damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.   Limited Flooding Risk.   Significant Excessive heat Risk.

DISCUSSION…

A line of thunderstorms will move east across the area late  this afternoon and early this evening. Some of these storms may  be capable of producing damaging wind gusts to 60 mph, and brief  heavy downpours. Locally heavy rainfall is possible if multiple  storm cells train over the same area, which could lead to minor  flooding.  

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Monday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Tuesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Wednesday and Thursday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

Friday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Coastal Flood Risk  High Swim Risk

Saturday…

High Swim Risk
