North winds up to 25 mph will build waves up to 5 to 8 feet along the Illinois and Indiana shores of Lake Michigan. This will cause dangerous rip currents at area beaches as well as a chance for lakeshore flooding and water or spray reaching roads and bike paths near Lake Michigan.
