Sunday and Monday…

DISCUSSION:
Very warm and humid air will return to the area Friday, and will linger through the weekend and into Monday. Thunderstorm chances will gradually increase late Friday night, and will persist off and on through Monday, when a cold front will move through. Some storms may be strong late Friday night over parts of northwest and north central Illinois. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible with some of the storms through Monday.
