This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION…

A complex of thunderstorms across central Wisconsin early this evening is expected to shift to the south southeast later this evening and into the overnight hours. Some of these storms may impact portions of far northeastern Illinois after 1 am and into portions of far northwestern Indiana just prior to daybreak. While these storms are not expected to be severe, some strong gusty winds will be possible across northeastern Illinois as these storms drive an outflow boundary into portions of northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana overnight. The storms should move out of the area by around daybreak Saturday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

Monday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Tuesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Dangerous heat with temperatures in the mid 90s and heat indices of 100-105 are expected Saturday through Monday.
