LIGHT SNOW MAY MIX WITH OR CHANGE TO PATCHY LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE
THIS AFTERNOON. MINOR LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATION OF A HALF INCH OR
LESS ARE POSSIBLE BY EVENING MAINLY SOUTHEAST OF A PONTIAC TO GARY
LINE. PATCHY LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA
TONIGHT. UNTREATED AND ELEVATED SURFACES COULD BECOME SLIPPERY.

THERE IS AN INCREASED POTENTIAL FOR ICE JAM RELATED FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF FREEZING RAIN FRIDAY MORNING AND EARLY
AFTERNOON MAINLY ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL AND FAR NORTHERN ILLINOIS.
TEMPERATURES WILL RISE ABOVE FREEZING LATER IN THE DAY...ENDING
THE THREAT OF FREEZING RAIN.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH TO ONE INCH ARE
POSSIBLE LATE FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT. WITH THE RAIN AND WARMER
WEATHER...THERE WILL BE AN INCREASED POTENTIAL FOR RISES ON AREA
RIVERS AND CREEKS AS WELL AS ICE JAM RELATED FLOODING.
