NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

AN INTENSE BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL PERSIST THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON FOR AREAS IN NORTHWEST INDIANA...PARTICULARLY LAKE AND
PORTER COUNTIES. HEAVY SNOWFALL WILL RESULT IN SNOW COVERED ROADS
AND NEAR WHITE OUT CONDITIONS.

WIND CHILLS AS LOW AS 10 BELOW TO 20 BELOW ZERO ARE STILL POSSIBLE
TODAY AND TONIGHT.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ANY ISOLATED ICE JAMS...PARTICULARLY ALONG THE KANKAKEE RIVER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

WIND CHILLS 10 BELOW TO 20 BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE EARLY WEDNESDAY
MORNING. WIND CHILLS 20 BELOW TO 30 BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING AND AGAIN THURSDAY NIGHT
INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

PERIODIC CHANCES FOR SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS WEEK INTO THE
WEEKEND.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ISOLATED ICE JAMS...PARTICULARLY ALONG THE KANKAKEE RIVER.
