THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

A BRIEF PERIOD OF MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS EASTERN
ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING. UP TO
ONE INCH OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE. WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH
AS 40 MPH MAY CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ACROSS THE ENTIRE
AREA THROUGH THIS EVENING.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ANY ISOLATED ICE JAMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED FRIDAY AND FRIDAY EVENING WITH
LESS THAN AN INCH OF ACUMULATION EXPECTED NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80
AND 1 TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80.

A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION SATURDAY MORNING WITH
SNOW INCREASING IN INTENSITY EARLY SATURDAY MORNING AND CONTINUING
THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THE SNOW MAY BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES
DURING THE MID TO LATE MORNING HOURS OF SATURDAY. SEVERAL INCHES
OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED. THE SNOW MAY MIX WITH OR CHANGE TO SLEET AND
FREEZING RAIN ALONG AND SOUTH OF A PONTIAC TO KANKAKEE TO
VALPARAISO LINE WITH ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE QUARTER INCH POSSIBLE.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY
REGION NEXT TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY WHICH MAY PRODUCE ACCUMULATING
SNOW ACROSS THE AREA.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ISOLATED ICE JAMS.
