NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

SNOW WILL OVERSREAD THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE. SNOW WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY OVERNIGHT
WITH A FEW INCHES POSSIBLE BY AROUND DAYBREAK SATURDAY.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ANY ISOLATED ICE JAMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

A WINTER STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION
SATURDAY MORNING WITH SNOW INCREASING IN INTENSITY EARLY SATURDAY
MORNING AND CONTINUING THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THE SNOW MAY
BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES DURING THE MID TO LATE MORNING HOURS
SATURDAY. SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED. THE SNOW MAY MIX
WITH OR CHANGE TO SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN ALONG AND SOUTH OF A
PONTIAC TO KANKAKEE TO VALPARAISO LINE WITH ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF
ONE QUARTER INCH POSSIBLE.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY
REGION NEXT TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY WHICH MAY PRODUCE ACCUMULATING
SNOW ACROSS THE AREA.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ISOLATED ICE JAMS.
