NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON. SOME LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS UP TO A HALF INCH ARE POSSIBLE.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ANY ISOLATED ICE JAMS...PARTICULARLY ALONG THE KANKAKEE RIVER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

ACCUMULATING SNOW IS LIKELY SATURDAY...WITH AT LEAST SEVERAL
INCHES OF ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE.

ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT SHOT OF COLD ARCTIC AIR IS EXPECTED TO
OVERSPREAD THE AREA NEXT WEEK. WIND CHILLS COULD DROP BELOW -20
MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING OF NEXT WEEK.

IN ADDITION...LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN
POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR ANY ISOLATED ICE JAMS...PARTICULARLY
ALONG THE KANKAKEE RIVER.
