THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS
NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA PRODUCING A FEW INCHES OF
ACCUMULATION. BLOWING AND DRIFTING IS POSSIBLE IN OPEN AREAS.

A POWERFUL COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING.
WINDS MAY GUST TO 40 TO 45 MPH FOR A BRIEF TIME IMMEDIATELY BEHIND
THE FRONT...THEN WILL EASE INTO THE 30 TO 35 MPH RANGE. SNOW
SHOWERS MAY ADD LIGHT ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS. SIGNIFICANT
BLOWING AND DRIFTING IS EXPECTED WITH WHITEOUT CONDITIONS POSSIBLE
AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ANY ISOLATED ICE JAMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

WIND CHILLS OF 25 BELOW TO 35 BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE MONDAY
MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...WITH A PERIOD OF WIND CHILLS
NEAR 40 BELOW ZERO POSSIBLE MONDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ISOLATED ICE JAMS.
