BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS
AND NORTHWEST INDIANA TODAY...MAINLY IN OPEN OR RURAL AREAS.

SNOW WILL SPREAD INTO NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS LATE TONIGHT WITH
SOME ACCUMULATIONS.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR
ANY ISOLATED ICE JAMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SNOW WILL CONTINUE SUNDAY MORNING WITH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO
4 INCHES POSSIBLE AREA WIDE.

A POWERFUL COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE REGION SUNDAY NIGHT.
WINDS GUSTING TO 45 MPH WILL LEAD TO BLOWING SNOW. BLIZZARD LIKE
CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE FOR A SHORT PERIOD BEHIND THE FRONT.

WIND CHILLS OF 25 BELOW TO 35 BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE SUNDAY NIGHT
THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...WITH A PERIOD OF WIND CHILLS COLDER THAN
40 BELOW ZERO POSSIBLE MONDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY.
