SUBZERO TEMPERATURES WERE OCCURRING ACROSS FAR NORTHERN ILLINOIS
EARLY THIS MORNING WITH WIND CHILLS AS LOW AS 15 BELOW. SIMILAR
CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP AGAIN LATE TONIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY
MORNING.
LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW IS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS
EVENING GENERALLY SOUTH OF A ROUGHLY STREATOR TO KANKAKEE AND DE
MOTTE LINE. LESS THAN AN INCH OF ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.
THERE IS AN INCREASED POTENTIAL FOR ICE JAM RELATED FLOODING.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.
SUBZERO TEMPERATURES AND WIND CHILLS OF 15 TO 20 BELOW ARE
EXPECTED ACROSS FAR NORTHERN ILLINOIS EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.
LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE THURSDAY...POSSIBLY MIXING WITH OR
CHANGING TO FREEZING DRIZZLE AT TIMES WEST OF CHICAGO. PATCHY
FREEZING DRIZZLE IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA THURSDAY
NIGHT INTO EARLY FRIDAY...WITH A CHANCE OF FREEZING RAIN
DEVELOPING FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE TEMPERATURES RISE ABOVE FREEZING
LATER IN THE DAY.
